Lighting is important to a timber frame, we often tuck up-lights and feature lights in frames to highlight the beams and geometry. But there's something really cozy about an unlit frame, with just the warm gleam of a Christmas tree. Hygge, the Danish word, comes to mind with the Fraser family tree as it casts its own glow to the warm timbers above.
