The Acadia Gateway Center, which will be a large timber frame hub for the shuttle buses that help cut down on the wear/tear of the Maine park's popularity, is coming along. It's enclosed, with T&G on the ceiling, and drywall has started. Outside a timber frame shelter waits for visitors who can escape the sun or rain as they await the Island Explorer (who just carried its 10 millionth visitor this past season!)
