Pioneer Millworks General Manager, Jonathan Taylor, is a woodworker by training and passion. Thus we wrangled him into makeing a piece for Design Within Reach's Block Party on Thursday. Several artists and designers around Portland, Oregon took a chunk of Pioneer Millworks donated timber to create a piece. You can bid on these at a silent auction Thursday March 6, from 5-7pm at Design Within Reach: 825 NW 13th Ave. Proceeds will go to Portland Backpacks, who make sure that all kids in the Portland Area eat every day.
