Jacob moved east from California to find greener pastures, literally. He and his girlfriend brought several of their Angora Goats with them across the country (plus 3 dogs) and all have happily settled into new digs. Traveling to raise timber frames is a highlight for Jacob, not only due to the satisfaction of helping a frame come together in full form, but in getting to see more of the eastern US. Plus, his former life in tree care means he’s comfortable with heights and likes working with wood. As to caring for and shearing the goats, that’s a whole other story
