Getting out on the water is easy via this timber boathouse which houses the family's watercraft–from powerboats to kayaks to paddleboards. The floor of the building sinks into–and rises out of–the lake, moving up or down with the changing water. Cool engineering connections integrating wood and steel join the floor with the timber frame.
