Pioneer Millworks Shou Sugi Ban, Fir Toasted, on the exterior of the new Student Success Center hall at Oregon State University Cascades in Bend. The black striping between pops of orange is Accoya Deep Char -- also a Pioneer Millworks burnt siding. The levels of visual texture and color depth that the Shou Sugi Ban products brings to an exterior allow designers to mix and match for really complex and complimentary palettes.
