The Cannon Beach Equestrian Facility is a partnership with Terraforma Architecture. The project includes an 16,000 SF riding arena, a 6,000 SF barn, and a breezeway all overlooking the Pacific Ocean, near Cannon Beach, Oregon. 

At 70’ long and 48” at its widest, the glulams will be some of the biggest yet to come through our new Oikos X. On raising day, the installation crew will have to maneuver these massive beams onto large concrete piers. No small feat but worth it for the modern design—the beams will cantilever up to the ridge and are held in tension by a 2” diameter steel rod tying back into the pier that provides a counter balance.
