Designed as a dance and yoga studio, this barn-inspired timber frame provides an oasis of privacy and serenity in the otherwise bustling Boston region–a sanctuary for the homeowners and guests. Curved Douglas fir trusses span the main level, supporting the clerestory windows, lifting the interior height of the meditation and gathering space. The exterior walls open for natural air circulation and a Zen-like experience.
