Originally starting out with our sister company Pioneer Millworks, Jake seamlessly transitioned to over to our HPEz team, bringing with him a background in carpentry. Inspired by his grandfather, a local engineer, Jake grew up surrounded by blueprints and construction documents, which gave him a lifelong passion and curiosity for thoughtful and complex projects. Outside of work, Jake is an avid chess & poker player, golfer, and armature astronomer. Born and raised in the Finger Lakes region, he lives near of Farmington shop with his black lab Zeke. When it comes to the sustainable nature of the work he does each day as part of our team, as he likes to say, “I wouldn’t call myself a crunchy person – but I am definitely not trying to destroy the planet. Sustainability is better than waste.”
