Acadia Gateway Center is nearing completion! The transportation hub, a Maine DOT project made possible with the support from The Friends of Acadia, will act as a new park and ride into the National Park. The need is great, as more and more people visit the park, more damage and wear is done to the area. This is one of the ways that the patrons can continue to enjoy nature, while cutting down on the human impact to nature.
