This project is dear to my heart. Its long history starts with recovering huge timbers from a canal, re-sawing them for a restaurant on the north shore, and (when that was doomed by development and taken down piece by piece) re-envisioning them in a new spot, still overlooking the lake but as a gathering place to celebrate.
