,Portland Block Party

Join MADE and DWR (Design Within Reach) at this year's Block Party on March 19th. New Energy Works with other architects and designers across Portland, OR will be taking a Pioneer Millworks timber cut and turning it into a work of art. Blocks are then auctioned off at the event with proceeds going to CHAP (Children's Healing Art Project). This local to Portland non-profit is "dedicated to bringing the healing power of art to children and families facing medical challenges." Block Party is a chance to celebrate creativity in the community, mingle with designer of all kinds, and raise money for a great cause -- see you there!
