Forest Service Rebuild
Odell Lake, OR
5,000 feet above elevation, 5-month build window, forest service rules controlling everything from color to shape to size to the anthropology of the site. This project required extraordinary planning, prefabrication, and architect/builder/client coordination. Odell Lake sits atop the Cascade Mountains of South-Central Oregon, God's country by all of our definitions.
The timber frame they crafted creates the warmth, strength, and stability that were key for the harsh environment and high elevation. On-site construction was quick and efficient, yielded minimal waste, and offered an advanced design for extreme energy measures and durability.
