An Evening Out
Cockeysville, MD
As-found and hewn oak timbers were selected to create a pergola structure that would feel as if it had existed for a hundred years on a large estate. The pergola offers an away space on the property for intimate gatherings and quiet conversation. Its construction and materials take inspiration from adjacent buildings on the site. Stout braces join with heavy timbers and beams in a traditional timber framing style.
This cozy outdoor dining area is a prime example of a wonderful job done. The results allow this structure to feel like it has been "here" for hundreds of years with its rich character.
