A warm fire and a cozy bedroom all under a Douglas fir timber frame–a good place to tuck in on old winter nights. Bumped out as a gable end from the upper roof, the timber frame includes two valley intersections with trusses against the ceiling on one side and in open space on the other. Each truss features a double sawn curved bottom chord softening the lines and height of the bedroom. The additional space to each side of the fireplace provides another opportunity to rest and relax.
