Our West Coast timber frame design studio, located in South West Portland, is where Jonathan, David, Kelsey, Calvin, Quentin, and the rest of our Oregon design & engineering teams collaborate on timber frame home designs and do most of their creative work. It makes sense that our partners, friends, and clients meet them here, too.
McMinnville Timber Frame Shop
Our west coast timber frames are crafted from our timber frame shop in McMinnville, OR. Nestled in the Willamette Valley amongst the grape vines, being out of the city gives our team plenty of room to spread out, a place for our timber framers to store their chisels, and a suitable home for our Hundegger. We share some space with our sister company, Pioneer Millworks, who mills sustainable and reclaimed flooring, paneling, siding, and timbers. We refer to this craftsmen's playground as "Mac"—it's where we keep all of our sawdust and our stash of reclaimed wood.
We love to give folks a tour, but let's set it up first so we can welcome you in style.
