We’re a quirky 30-year-old Finger Lakes based, eco-minded fine woodworking and timber frame company with an east coast nexus in Farmington, NY. Designers, architects, builders, and homeowners come to us for specialized, and highly detailed woodworking projects. Doors, stairs, cabinetry, and furniture are our forte—handcrafted from reclaimed and sustainable wood using traditional tooling and modern CNC and software technology. People, planet, and prosperity are what drive our business.
If you’re an accomplished and creative custom wood-based finisher with the know-how to take on unique and challenging projects, we’d like to know you. Our ideal finisher thrives on more esoteric challenges like color and texture matches using applied and reactive finishes (from oils and urethanes to paints and water-based products) in a production setting and has the moxie to work with some of the finest wood craftspeople in the region.
This position is critical to the production of our fine woodworking projects. The finisher role uses familiarity with the technical aspects of wood finishing to enhance and complete custom work. He/she uses a creative and organized approach to solve client needs with a wide reaching and forever changing palate of colors, textures, and finish mediums.
