We recently completed installation of timber for a lodge project at Mohonk Mountain House. We used re-sawn industrial salvaged Douglas fir from our sister company Pioneer Millworks. Our reclaimed timber shows signs of its previous life, such as ferrous staining, nail holes and bolt holes, which give character to the wood. After edge-detail was applied, the timbers were burned, wire brushed, and stained. Mohonk Mountain House is an award-winning resort near the Catskill Mountains. The architect was Andrew Allison of AJA Architecture and Planning.
