Our sister company, Pioneer Millworks, is hosting an open house at our Design Studio as a part of Design Week Portland. Stop by for a Shou Sugi Ban demonstration, a nosh, a pint of beer/wine, and a thank you gift from us.
Wood is a timeless material that is often used in traditional ways. In today’s technologically-advanced society, we’re noticing a desire to pull-back to a simpler time of historical craftsmanship, and we're proud to give this old wood new life as flooring, cabinetry, and more. And, we do it all in a way that's healthy for you, our employees, and the planet. We’ll be giving tours of our design studio and encouraging the exploration of our reclaimed wood samples, ranging from timbers salvaged from Centennial Mills to wine vat planks from local wineries. Our experts will be around to answer questions and to share the latest trends in designing with reclaimed wood.
