We are excited to announce our first Net Zero project. We've designed and will build this home in partnership with CreekSide Energy Solutions. Both the interior and exterior frames are kiln dried Douglas Fir. The exterior timber frame is a screened-in front porch shed roof and a brise soleil – an infrastructure carefully designed to maximize the shade over the windows in the summer months. The home will also feature a pre-panelized double wall and a pre-panelized roof system. High performance products are incorporated throughout the overall project.
We'll be chronicling this project over the next year, though we can't guarantee our prose will be as good as CreekSide's blog. They have been sharing since day one and have some great insights and information. Follow their side of the process.
Join us as we raise the frames in Richland, NY on Tuesday July 7th 2015. More details are available upon request.
