Positioned in the Willamette River Valley of Oregon, this old farm land is being converted into a nursery and home for a very hands-on couple. A contemporary and efficient timber framed home, the 1,200sqft abode is a laboratory for progressive enclosures, with our pre-fabricated, seismic upgraded wall system called Matrix 3.0. The timber frame is kiln-dried Douglas Fir, and the modern exterior will be clad in hand-torched Shou Sugi Ban Larch by the owners. We’re calling this sweet home our NEW Jewel, a not-so-big take on the contemporary timber frame.
