Our design group developed plans for this Blowing Rock, NC family home for Rob, Amy, and daughter Caitlin. The style of the home takes cues from prevalent structures of the Old Blowing Rock area. It looks out over a small, picturesque lake where residents can go for a swim or paddle to their neighbor's house.
The home features white pine scissor trusses and flexible spaces for entertaining guests while providing a variety of quiet, intimate spaces. The trusses are topped with a clearstory and connected to a Douglas fir exterior porch, patio, and breezeway.
